【摘要】:Thistestmethodisdesignedtoobtainstyrenepurityonthebasisofimpuritiesnormallypresentinstyreneandmaybeusedforfinalproductinspectionsandprocesscontrol.ThistestmethodwilldetecttheimpuritiesshowninTable1,non-aromatichydrocarbonscontainingtencarbonsorless,andotherswherespecificimpuritystandardsareavailable.Absolutepuritycannotbedeterminedifunknownimpuritiesarepresent.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationoftheimpuritiestypicallyfoundinstyreneandusesthosevaluestodeterminethepurityofstyrenebydifferencebygaschromatography.TypicalimpuritiesincommercialstyrenearefoundinTable1.1.2Thistestmethodisapplicabletoimpurityconcentrationsintherangeof0.001to1.00%andforstyrenepuritiesof99%orhigherwhenusingtheinternalstandardprocedure.1.3Indeterminingtheconformanceofthetestresultsusingthismethodtoapplicablespecifications,resultsshallberoundedoffinaccordancewiththerounding-offmethodofPracticeE29.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Foraspecifichazardstatement,seeSection9.
